    Privacy Policy

    Last Updated: 29 September, 2026

    1. Introduction

Sparkli2Shine Cleaning Services (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the company”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you visit our website, request an estimate, book a service, or otherwise interact with our business.

This policy applies to all clients, prospective clients, website visitors, and anyone who submits information to us through our website, by phone, by email, or in person. By using our website or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described here, we ask that you refrain from submitting personal information to us or using our services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or applicable law. Any updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date, and continued use of our services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

    2. Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to residential clients, commercial clients, property managers, and anyone who submits a booking request, contact form, phone inquiry, or email to Sparkli2Shine. It also applies to visitors who browse our website without submitting personal information, to the extent that limited technical data is collected automatically as described in Section 6.

This policy does not apply to third-party websites that may be linked from our website, including social media platforms, payment processors, or scheduling tools. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you interact with separately from our own site.

    3. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few different ways, depending on how you interact with us. The categories below describe the types of information we may gather.

Contact and Identification Information. This includes your full name, phone number, email address, and mailing or service address. We collect this information when you request an estimate, book a service, contact us through our website, or communicate with our team by phone or email.

Property and Service Information. This includes details about the property being serviced, such as square footage, number of rooms, property type, current condition, access instructions, and any special requests related to the cleaning service. This information helps us provide accurate estimates and deliver the service you have requested.

Billing and Payment Information. This includes payment method details, billing address, and transaction history related to services rendered. Depending on the payment method you choose, some payment information may be processed and stored directly by a third-party payment processor rather than by us directly, as described further in Section 8.

Communication Records. This includes records of calls, texts, emails, and other correspondence between you and our team, which we retain for the purpose of maintaining accurate service records, resolving disputes, and improving our customer service.

Access Information. For clients who provide keys, lockbox codes, garage codes, or alarm instructions to facilitate service, we retain this information for as long as necessary to provide the agreed service and in accordance with the access and security practices described in Section 9.

Website Usage Information. When you visit our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This information is described further in Section 6.

Photographs. With your permission, we may take before-and-after photographs of completed work for quality assurance or marketing purposes, as described further in Section 10.

    4. How We Collect Information

We collect the information described above through several channels. Most information is collected directly from you when you fill out a contact form or booking request on our website, call or text our business phone number, email us directly, or speak with a team member in person during a walkthrough or scheduled visit.

Some information may also be collected automatically through your use of our website, including through cookies and similar tracking technologies described in Section 6. In limited circumstances, we may also receive information from third parties, such as a property manager booking service on behalf of a tenant, or a referral partner who shares contact information with your consent.

    5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes.

Providing Services. We use your contact information, property details, and special requests to schedule appointments, prepare accurate estimates, assign appropriate team members, and complete the cleaning services you have requested.

Billing and Payment Processing. We use your billing information to process payments for services rendered, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records for our business.

Communication. We use your phone number and email address to send appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, estimate follow-ups, and responses to any questions or concerns you raise with our team.

Customer Service and Quality Assurance. We use communication records and service history to resolve any issues, respond to satisfaction guarantee requests, and improve the consistency and quality of our work over time.

Marketing and Promotions. With appropriate consent, we may use your contact information to share seasonal offers, referral programs, or updates about our services. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time while continuing to receive essential service-related messages.

Website Improvement. We use aggregated and anonymized website usage data to understand how visitors interact with our site and to improve its functionality, content, and overall user experience.

Legal and Business Purposes. We may use your information as necessary to comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests, protect the rights and safety of our clients and team members, or enforce our Terms and Conditions.

We do not use the personal information we collect for any purpose beyond what is reasonably necessary to operate our business and serve our clients effectively.

    6. Cookies and Website Tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience and gather information about how visitors use our site. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that allow us to recognize repeat visitors, remember preferences, and understand general browsing patterns.

The types of cookies we may use include essential cookies necessary for basic website functionality, analytics cookies that help us understand website traffic and visitor behavior, and, where applicable, marketing cookies that support the effectiveness of any online advertising we may run.

Most web browsers allow you to control cookie settings through your browser preferences, including the ability to block or delete cookies. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website, including your ability to submit forms or navigate certain pages smoothly.

We may also use third-party analytics tools, such as website traffic analysis services, which collect data about visitor behavior on an aggregated basis. These tools operate under their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them separately if you have specific concerns about how such data is handled.

    7. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances.

Service Providers. We may share information with third-party service providers who help us operate our business, including scheduling software platforms, payment processors, accounting tools, and email or text communication services. These providers are only given access to the information necessary to perform their specific function and are expected to handle your information responsibly.

Team Members. Information relevant to completing a scheduled service, including property access details and special requests, is shared internally with the team members assigned to your appointment. Access to this information is limited to what is reasonably necessary to perform the service.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, in response to a valid legal request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, comply with a legal obligation, investigate potential wrongdoing, or protect the safety of our clients, team members, or the public.

Business Transfers. In the event that Sparkli2Shine is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar business transition, client information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We would make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients of any such change and any resulting changes to how their information is handled.

With Your Consent. We may share your information with other third parties when you have given us explicit permission to do so, such as when referring you to a subcontractor for a specialized service not offered directly by Sparkli2Shine.

    8. Payment Processing

When you make a payment for our services, certain payment information may be processed directly by a third-party payment processor rather than being stored on our own systems. These processors maintain their own security standards and privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies if you have specific questions about how your payment information is handled.

We retain records of payment amounts, dates, and services rendered for accounting and tax purposes, but we do not store complete payment card numbers on our own systems beyond what is necessary for legitimate business recordkeeping and in compliance with applicable payment security standards.

    9. Property Access Information

For clients who provide keys, lockbox codes, garage codes, or alarm disarm instructions to facilitate cleaning services, we treat this information with particular care given its sensitivity. Access information is shared only with the specific team members assigned to your property and is not distributed more broadly within our organization than necessary.

Physical keys are stored securely when not in active use for a scheduled appointment. Digital access codes are recorded in our scheduling system with restricted access limited to authorized personnel. Clients may request that we update, remove, or discontinue the storage of access information at any time, and we will process such requests promptly.

We recommend that clients using shared access codes, such as building or complex entry codes, notify us of any changes as soon as possible to ensure our records remain accurate and to avoid any unnecessary retention of outdated access information.

    10. Photographs and Marketing Materials

With client permission, we may photograph completed work for use in our marketing materials, website, or social media accounts. These photographs are limited to the property and completed work itself. We do not photograph personal belongings, identifying documents, family photos, or any other content that could reasonably be used to identify you or your household without separate and specific consent.

Clients who prefer not to have their property photographed for any reason may opt out at any time by informing our team prior to a scheduled visit. This preference will be recorded and respected for all future appointments. Clients who have previously consented to photography may withdraw that consent at any time, and we will remove any previously published photographs upon request where reasonably possible.

    11. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain accurate business and accounting records, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Specific retention periods vary depending on the type of information involved.

Contact and service history information is generally retained for the duration of the client relationship and for a reasonable period afterward to support recordkeeping, potential future bookings, and resolution of any outstanding matters. Billing and payment records are retained in accordance with standard accounting and tax recordkeeping practices, which may require retention for several years.

Property access information, such as keys or codes, is retained only for as long as needed to provide active or recurring service and is removed from our records upon client request or at the conclusion of the service relationship, whichever comes first.

Clients may request the deletion of their personal information at any time, subject to any legal, accounting, or contractual obligations that may require certain records to be retained for a defined period.

    12. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we collect from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These steps include limiting access to personal information to team members and service providers who need it to perform their specific functions, using secure systems for storing scheduling, billing, and communication records, and taking physical precautions with any keys or access materials entrusted to us.

While we work to protect your information using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, no method of data storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data security incident that may affect your personal information, we will take appropriate steps to investigate and notify affected clients as required by applicable law.

    13. Your Rights and Choices

You have certain rights regarding the personal information we hold about you. These rights include the ability to request access to the personal information we have collected about you, request that we correct any inaccurate or outdated information in our records, request that we delete your personal information, subject to any legal or accounting retention requirements, and opt out of promotional communications at any time while continuing to receive essential service-related messages.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided in Section 18. We will respond to reasonable requests in a timely manner and may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests, particularly those involving the deletion or disclosure of sensitive information.

    14. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults who are booking cleaning services for a residential or commercial property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and our website and booking processes are not designed for use by individuals under the age of eighteen. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information promptly.

    15. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms, review sites, or partner businesses. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by Sparkli2Shine and does not extend to the practices of any third-party site you may visit through a link on our website. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site before submitting personal information.

Similarly, any scheduling software, payment processing platform, or communication tool we use to support our operations maintains its own privacy practices, and we encourage clients with specific questions about those tools to review the relevant third-party policy directly.

    16. Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers include a “Do Not Track” feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online activity tracked. At this time, our website does not respond to Do Not Track signals in a uniform way, as there is no universally accepted standard for how such signals should be interpreted. We encourage privacy-conscious visitors to adjust their browser cookie settings directly if they wish to limit tracking on our site.

    17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, the services we offer, or applicable legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on our website along with a revised “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. We encourage clients to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

Continued use of our website or services after any update to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If we make material changes that significantly affect how your personal information is used, we will make reasonable efforts to notify existing clients directly in addition to posting the update on our website.

    18. Contact Information

If you have questions, concerns, or requests related to this Privacy Policy or how your personal information is handled, please contact us using the information below. We take privacy concerns seriously and will respond to inquiries as promptly as possible.
